As a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA), last November and after much thought, I decided to participate in the Portfolio Distinction program. This program offers members the opportunity to showcase their creative photographic skills by producing a body of work that reflects the members’ personal style and photographic interests. The portfolio is submitted to a judging panel for consideration for a PSA Portfolio Award. Three levels of distinctions are available, Bronze, Silver and Gold, starting with Bronze. Recently, in February, I received notification that my work was accepted and I have received the BPSA Distinction. I want to thank my good friend Abbas Kapadia who encouraged me all the time to do so. In the image below you can see the portfolio I presented to the jury with the Title and the Statement of Intent.
