Welcome to my photography website.
My name is Francisco Montes. I was born in Havana, Cuba, and have lived in Spain and, for more than forty years, in the United States. I currently reside in a suburb of Chicago with my wife, Barbara. Our children and four adorable grandchildren live nearby and fill our lives with joy. I am a retired graphic designer who now enjoys photography in my spare time.
I love photographing the world around me, but my greatest passion is nature photography. Through it, I can contemplate the greatness of God and His magnificent creation. God made a beautiful world for us to live in. Photography encourages me to observe more closely, to reflect more deeply, and to marvel at His power while enjoying the outdoors.
Reading God’s Word every day nourishes my soul and gives me true life. Without the Bible, I would be lost in this world. Only through faith in the saving work of Jesus Christ—my Savior and Lord—have I been called out of darkness into His wonderful light.
I am humbled and continually amazed by the beauty of creation and the power of God’s Word. I hope you, too, experience the grace of His light in your life.

Bienvenido a mi sitio web de fotografía.
Mi nombre es Francisco Montes. Nací en La Habana, Cuba, y he vivido en España y, durante más de cuarenta años, en los Estados Unidos. Actualmente resido en un suburbio de Chicago con mi esposa, Bárbara. Nuestros hijos y cuatro adorables nietos viven cerca y llenan nuestras vidas de alegría. Soy un diseñador gráfico retirado que ahora disfruta de la fotografía en su tiempo libre.
Me encanta fotografiar el mundo que me rodea, pero mi mayor pasión es la fotografía de la naturaleza. A través de ella puedo contemplar la grandeza de Dios y Su magnífica creación. Dios hizo un mundo hermoso para que vivamos en él. La fotografía me anima a observar con más atención, reflexionar más profundamente y maravillarme de Su poder mientras disfruto del aire libre.
Leer la Palabra de Dios cada día alimenta mi alma y me da verdadera vida. Sin la Biblia, estaría perdido en este mundo. Solo a través de la fe en la obra salvadora de Jesucristo —mi Salvador y Señor— he sido llamado de las tinieblas a Su luz maravillosa.
Me siento humilde y constantemente asombrado ante la belleza de la creación y el poder de la Palabra de Dios. Espero que tú también experimentes la gracia de Su luz en tu vida.
